Review: Great Example of a Fun Blog: IAMCARISU

Today, I am presenting a great blog: IAMCARISU.

IAMCARISU is a great example of a fun-to-read blog.
For those of you who have heard of blogs, but don't know where to start, this blog is an excellent example.

Blogs are websites that people never have to visit.  Once they visit, many people never return to see it ever again.

Why would they?

There are so many blogs, and many of them are really boring.

So it would take an extraordinary blog to make people want to revisit it.  It would have to be convenient to read, offer unique insight, provide a fun experience, teach something we want to know, or provide some other consistently reliable value for us to return to it.

What makes this IAMCARISU blog really good?

This is a fair question to ask.  What does make this a "good" blog?

First, it has a nice layout.  It has a nice title bar.  You can see a list of the most recent blogs, each of which show a catchy title and a neat looking picture.  (You can click on an one of them to "Continue reading.")

At the time of this blog post, here is a list of her most recent blog post titles:
Let's take a look at some of these posts.
"When All is Planned" is a cute, uplifting blog post about something that haunts us all.
For instance, her blog post "When All is Planned" is an encouraging boost for people, and it is encouragement that many people need.  How often have YOUR plans not really panned?  Plus, she has an eye-catching picture posted.
"Typography | For the Things You Want" blog post only has this picture - No words to read.
Her blog post, "Typography | For the Things You Want" is a great example of an easy to create blog post that still creates value.  It has insight that cannot be denied, and it appeals to people who want more for themselves.  The best part of this, though, is that it takes nearly NO time to read.  There aren't any words, except for the words within the graphic.
"David Conti's Magica Chairs" is a blog post that helps sell really neat looking chairs.
Her blog post, "David Conti's Magica Chairs" is a blog post that is also a clever commercial.  This is a perfect example of using blog to help make money by affiliating yourself with someone else who sells something, also known as affiliate marketing.  However, this author carefully selects products that tickle your curiosity and make you wonder what else she has to sell.  (She has a lot of REALLY neat stuff on her blog.  Really!)  Notice how she uses a captivating picture to make you look more closely.

The IAMCARISU blog is a perfect example of how to blend fun with business.  She keeps it easy to read with short posts, pleasant to view (with pictures and a nice layout), and offers a lot of different insights, including cool gift ideas to buy.
Always provide an easy way for you to keep in touch with your visitors.
Plus, she does something that all blogs should do.  She provides a way for her to reconnect with people.  She gives social media buttons, and she makes it easy for people to subscribe to her e-mail list.

You might not create a blog as nice as this, but these short blog posts with cool pictures might be a clue that making a nice looking blog may not be too hard for you.

Good luck.  Let me know if you would like my help.
